Burt Satcher’s civil litigation practice includes experience in professional liability, general personal injury liability, premises liability, trucking litigation, and products liability. Burt began his Georgia statewide practice in 1985, and is admitted to all state trial and appellate courts as well as Federal courts.
He has been extensively involved in the representation of a wide variety of healthcare providers as well as the defense of general and product liability cases throughout his thirty years of practice. He is a member of the Defense Research Institute and the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association and has been active in the State Bar and the Atlanta Bar Association in which he served as President of the Atlanta Council of Younger Lawyers in 1995. Burt was named to Georgia Trend’s Legal Elite in 2009, 2010, 2015, and 2016 in the categories of trial practice and personal injury defense.
Burt was born and raised in Georgia, achieved his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1982. He received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Georgia in 1985.
