Edward Cochran joined Coleman Talley LLP in 2013, and is an Associate practicing in the firm’s Valdosta office. Edward concentrates his practice in commercial real estate, commercial transactions, corporate law, and estate planning.
A native of Bainbridge, GA, Edward received his B.B.A. in both Real Estate and Marketing from the University of Georgia in 2000, and his J.D. (cum laude) from Mercer University, Walter F. George School of Law in 2013. At Mercer, Edward was awarded the Faculty Award for Outstanding Achievement in Legal Writing, a Merit Scholarship, and Cali Awards for Advanced Legal Writing Group and Environmental Law Practice.
As a former licensed real estate broker in the State of Georgia, Edward offers over 13 years of experience in the real estate industry specializing in commercial real estate brokerage, development, and asset management. His experience ranges from assisting investors in purchasing income producing properties to consulting on a bank owned portfolio with over ninety million dollars in assets. In 2007, Edward earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation and remains a member of the National and Georgia Chapters of the CCIM Institute. Additionally, he is a member of the Real Estate Section of the Georgia Bar Association.
