Coleman Talley attorney Emily Macheski-Preston was a speaker at the Georgia Department of Community Affairs’ Community Planning Institute (CPI) on October 5th in Savannah, Georgia.  CPI provides information about planning for land use, growth and development, and efficient management of local water resources through a series of classes designed for planning commissioners, elected officials, and local government staff.  Emily’s presentation focused on the legal aspects of land use in Georgia, with emphasis on zoning requirements.
