Attorneys Emily Macheski-Preston and Anamaria Hazard attended the International Municipal Lawyers Association annual conference held September 18-22 in Atlanta, Georgia. Anamaria served as moderator on a panel discussion concerning how local governments can work with e-scooter companies. As a part of the conference, Emily and Anamaria participated in the Georgia Institute for City and County attorneys. The program featured various topics relating to government and municipal law, including construction contracts, ransomware, telecommunications, and transportation. Former Georgia Governor Nathan Deal provided the keynote speech to the attendees.
