The Korean Association of North Florida visited the Jacksonville offices of Coleman Talley on Monday, August 17th. Partner Mark Gilbert hosted the quarterly business meeting which included a commemoration of Korean Independence Day called 광복절(Gwangbokjeol), which means ‘Restoration of Light Day’. Its name is made from the Korean characters of ‘광’ (gwang), meaning ‘light’; ‘복’ (bok), meaning ‘restoration’; and ‘절’ (jeol), meaning ‘holiday’.
