Emily represents developers, owners, and property management companies of multifamily housing, with a focus in affordable and student housing. Emily regularly litigates matters involving evictions, landlord tenant law, premise liability, mold, breach of contracts, and the Fair Housing Act. Emily also often serves as outside general counsel or risk management for her clients, advising clients on employment issues, insurance coverage issues, vendor issues, compliance, and monitoring litigation.
Emily attended Oglethorpe University and Mercer University on full scholarships. Originally from Valdosta, Emily relocated from the firm’s Valdosta office to Roswell in 2014 and practices primarily out of the firm’s Atlanta office.
