John Ellis III (“Johnny”) is a corporate attorney based in Atlanta, with significant experience advising public and private companies, private equity sponsors, and financial institutions on complex corporate and capital markets transactions. His practice has encompassed mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, joint ventures, capital markets offerings, and securities law compliance, across industries such as financial services, technology, automotive, and energy.

Johnny received a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from the University of Georgia, cum laude, with Honors. He graduated, with honors, from The University of Texas School of Law, where he was a Director of Development for the Texas Journal of Oil, Gas, and Energy Law.
