Mark Gilbert

Mark is a member of both The Florida Bar and the State Bar of Georgia. He is a Partner practicing in the areas of Business and Commercial Litigation, Civil Trial Practice, Creditor’s Rights, and Bankruptcy. His practice focuses on the resolution of complex business disputes and commercial litigation, including contract and partnership disputes, creditor representation, bankruptcy matters, preference defense, and adversary proceedings. Mark represents clients in all State and Federal courts in Florida and Georgia, has argued cases before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and has made pro hac vice appearances in Federal Courts across the United States.

Mark received his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration in 1989 from Northern Arizona University summa cum laude and his Juris Doctor degree in 1993 from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University, where he was President of Pi Kappa Phi.

Mark is actively involved in the legal community via continuing legal education, where he lectures annually at litigation and business dispute conferences throughout the Southeast. His extensive trial and litigation experience developed from a combination of over 8,500 contested motions, trials, and appeals over the past 34 years. Additionally, Mark served as a Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Georgia for over 12 years and serves as legal advisor to the Northeast Florida Korean Association.
