Mark Gilbert
Mark is a member of both The Florida Bar and the State Bar of Georgia. He is a Partner practicing in the areas of Bankruptcy, Creditor’s Rights, Collections, and Civil Trial Practice. His practice focuses on the representation of creditors in all aspects of civil litigation, bankruptcy, preference defense, and adversary proceedings. Mark represents creditor interests in all State and Federal courts in Florida and Georgia, as well as pro hac vice appearances in Federal Courts across the United States.
Mark received his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration in 1989 from Northern Arizona University summa cum laude and his Juris Doctor degree in 1993 from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University, where he was President of Pi Kappa Phi.
Mark is actively involved in the creditor community via continuing legal education where he lectures annually at bankruptcy and creditor rights conferences throughout the Southeast. His extensive experience developed from a combination of over 8,500 contested motions, trials, and appeals over the past 25 years. Additionally, Mark served as a Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Georgia for over 12 years.
