Ryan Spell

Ryan Spell is a Partner in the firm’s Atlanta office whose practice focuses on commercial real estate transactions. He represents developers, investors, lenders, and owners in the acquisition, development, financing, operation, and disposition of commercial real estate, with significant experience in build-to-rent, multi-family, and student housing projects. He is involved in all phases of a deal, including negotiating purchase and sale agreements, overseeing due diligence, transaction structuring, and guiding transactions through closing. He also counsels clients on operational matters, refinancings, and dispositions, allowing him to remain involved throughout the life cycle of a project. His practice includes working closely with investment partners and their counsel, lenders and their counsel, and coordinating with title and survey professionals, consultants, and opposing counsel to facilitate the efficient execution of transactions.

A native of Hahira, Georgia, Ryan graduated from Valdosta State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2006. Ryan obtained his Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the University of Georgia in 2008 and his Juris Doctor (JD) degree in 2011 from Mercer University. Ryan is a member of the State Bar of Georgia.
