Coleman Talley Welcomes 2026 Summer Law Clerks

Coleman Talley is pleased to welcome its 2026 Summer Law Clerks across the firm’s Valdosta, Atlanta, and Jacksonville offices.

Over the coming months, these law students will gain hands-on experience while working alongside attorneys across a variety of practice areas. Through meaningful legal assignments, mentorship from partners and associates, firm events, and a weekly Lunch & Learn series, the program is designed to provide insight into both the practice of law and the culture of Coleman Talley.

The firm welcomes Simone Butler of Emory University School of Law; Wright Formisano and Victoria Tanner of Mercer University School of Law; Maxwell Law of Stetson University College of Law; Owen Anderson of the University of Georgia School of Law; and Simon Rothleder of Wake Forest University School of Law.

Supporting Professional Growth Across Offices

Owen Anderson and Victoria Tanner will spend the summer in the Valdosta office. A Valdosta native, Owen is a first-year law student at the University of Georgia School of Law. He previously supported attorneys through document organization and case preparation and has experience in hospitality and event operations. His background also includes leadership and community service involvement.

Victoria, also a first-year law student, attends Mercer University School of Law. She has experience as a legal assistant, supporting attorneys across a range of civil matters and assisting with client communication, drafting, and case preparation. Her background includes teaching and community service, reflecting strong communication skills and community engagement.

Simone Butler will join the Atlanta office as a Summer Law Clerk. A first-year law student at Emory University School of Law, Simone brings prior experience in paralegal and law office management roles, supporting estate administration, litigation, family law, and real estate matters. She has also worked in a congressional office, contributing to legislative operations and internship coordination.

Building Experience in Jacksonville and Beyond

Wright Formisano and Maxwell Law will spend the summer in the Jacksonville office. Wright, a first-year law student at Mercer University School of Law, has a background in business management and real estate. His experience includes operating a small business and working in operations, analytics, and regulatory research.

Maxwell, a second-year law student at Stetson University College of Law, holds an MBA in Finance and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. His background includes legal support, land development project management, and business strategy, as well as experience working with attorneys on case management and research.

Simon Rothleder of Wake Forest University School of Law also joins the 2026 Summer Law Clerk class and will gain experience working with attorneys across the firm.

Investing in the Next Generation of Attorneys

Coleman Talley’s Summer Law Clerk program is designed to provide meaningful, practical experience while introducing students to the firm’s collaborative culture. Through mentorship, hands-on work, and professional development opportunities, the program supports the next generation of attorneys as they begin their legal careers.
