The Georgia Department of Community Affairs Office of Downtown Development visited the Coleman Talley building project at 109 South Ashley Street on Wednesday, March 4 as a part of the “Mobilize Main Street” tour. Valdosta was showcased in the workshop of three South Georgia communities that successfully utilize the Main Street Approach. Partner Russ Henry led groups through the building, highlighting the efforts to preserve its history and the use of historic tax credits to invest in Downtown Valdosta.
