The South Georgia Council of the Boy Scouts of America recently featured Kenn Kington, Professional Comedian and Motivational Speaker at its “Building Leaders” campaign dinner at the James H. Rainwater Conference Center in Valdosta, Georgia. Coleman Talley LLP was a sponsor of the event, where hundreds of supporters gathered. The South Georgia Council of the Boy Scouts of America serves 28 counties in southern Georgia. The Council was organized in 2012 as the result of the merging of the former Alapaha Area Council in Valdosta and the Chehaw Council in Albany, the area has a strong and rich tradition of service to young men and women in south Georgia. It is the mission of the Boy Scouts of America to serve others by helping to instill values in young people and in other ways prepare them to make ethical choices over their lifetime in achieving their full potential.
