Starr has joined the firm as Partner. “Jeff’s diverse practice and proven track record in litigation and transactional matters make him an excellent addition to our team,” said Managing Partner Justin Scott. “His experience in handling complex business disputes and serving as outside general counsel to various industries will strengthen our service capabilities.”
With years of experience advising businesses on a wide range of legal matters, Jeff brings a wealth of expertise to the firm. His focus areas include business organizations, commercial real estate, and litigation. He has advised start-ups and established businesses on entity selection, shareholder agreements, and acquisitions. Jeff has handled complex transactions for founder-owned businesses valued in the multi-million dollar range.
Jeff’s experience also spans other key areas. These include outside general counsel services, contract negotiations, risk management, and employment matters. He has represented clients in commercial real estate, especially in tenant-side lease agreements. Jeff has a strong background in pre-litigation and litigation, including breach of contract, business torts, and personal injury defense.
Jeff earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law. He holds a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business. His combination of legal acumen and business education provides him with a unique perspective in serving clients’ diverse needs.
