Coleman Talley Welcomes Three Recent Mercer Law Graduates to Atlanta and Jacksonville Offices

Jodie Scott joins Coleman Talley’s Atlanta office, where she is expected to support the firm’s corporate and commercial transactions practice. Jodie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia before earning her Juris Doctor from Mercer University School of Law.

During law school, Jodie gained practical experience through legal clerkships and an in-house externship involving commercial lending transactions, corporate compliance matters, commercial real estate, and healthcare-related legal work. She was a member of Mercer Law Review, Phi Delta Phi, and served as an elected Member at Large of the Corporate Counsel Society.

Hilton Hebb joins the firm’s Jacksonville office, where he will support Coleman Talley’s affordable housing practice. Hilton earned his Bachelor of Arts in English, summa cum laude, from Florida State University before graduating from Mercer University School of Law.

While attending law school, Hilton developed his advocacy skills through moot court and mock trial competitions and gained valuable courtroom exposure as an intern with the Office of the State Attorney for Florida’s Fourth Judicial Circuit. His academic achievements include receiving the Faculty Legal Writing Award and serving on the Mercer Advocacy Council’s Moot Court Team.

Sara Hingson-Rodriguez also joins Coleman Talley’s Jacksonville office and affordable housing practice. Sara earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with Honors, cum laude, from the University of Chicago before attending Mercer University School of Law.

During law school, Sara participated in clerkships, internships, and academic research involving municipal law, community association governance, construction defect litigation, and judicial research. She graduated in the top five percent of her class, was recognized as a Woodruff Scholar, received the CALI Award in Criminal Law, and is a published author in the Mercer Law Review, where her scholarship appeared in Volume 76 of the publication.

All three graduates earned their Juris Doctor degrees from Mercer University School of Law and distinguished themselves through academic achievement, leadership, and practical legal training.
