Forbes Ouzts McFadden Foundation Board of Directors appointment marks a new leadership role supporting conservation and environmental education efforts in Southwest Georgia.
Forbes, an attorney with Coleman Talley, was recently appointed to the Board of Directors of The McFadden Foundation, Inc., a Georgia nonprofit organization working alongside The McFadden Nature Center, Inc. to preserve land, protect wildlife, and expand access to environmental education.
McFadden Foundation and Nature Center Efforts
The McFadden Foundation partners with The McFadden Nature Center to support a long-term vision focused on conservation and public engagement. Located along the Chattahoochee River, the McFadden Nature Center spans approximately 1,260 acres and is designed to provide educational and outdoor experiences for the region.
Once completed, the nature center will include a state-of-the-art education facility, lodging accommodations, trails, and other amenities to support learning and recreation. The project is currently under construction, with a grand opening tentatively planned for 2027.
Supporting Conservation and Community Engagement in Southwest Georgia
Forbes Ouzts’ appointment to the McFadden Foundation Board of Directors reflects his commitment to initiatives that benefit the broader Southwest Georgia community. Through this role, he will help support efforts that promote environmental stewardship and expand access to educational opportunities.
