Coleman Talley Partner Russ Henry recently attended the 53rd Annual Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning in Orlando, Florida. The Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning is the leading educational conference for all members of the estate planning team, including attorneys, accountants, insurance advisors, wealth management professionals, educators, and nonprofit advisors. The event offered practical guidance on today’s most important tax and non-tax planning issues, including the planning challenges and opportunities presented by an uncertain economic and political environment. Attendees had the opportunity to network with others in the estate planning industry and explore educational topics such as international planning, planning with trusts, charitable giving, ethics and client security, and the impact of the 2017 Tax Act.
