David Hasenauer
David Hasenauer is an Associate attorney in Coleman Talley’s Valdosta office. His practice focuses on real estate, government affairs, environmental law, zoning, and regulatory matters.
David’s background is in regulated industries, legislation, and real estate development. A military veteran, David served as an infantryman in the Army for four years before earning his Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law. He also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from Florida Atlantic University.
David has prior experience as a project manager where he led key acquisitions in transit-oriented development and managed the development of affordable housing projects. He also successfully navigated inter-governmental relations and holds a certification from the Florida Redevelopment Association, where he is an association member. David is also a member of the Urban Land Institute. He has served as a Legislative Aide and Regional Campaign Director with Florida for Care, United For Care. He also contributed to the passage of key legislation, including SB 1726 (2017) and SB 1020 (2019).
